Overview
The Master of Science in Forensic Science with a minor in Forensic Biology and Genetics provides students with advanced training in forensic science, with a specialized focus on biological evidence analysis and genetic investigation techniques. The program offers a comprehensive understanding of forensic principles and methodologies, covering topics such as crime scene processing, DNA analysis, and population genetics. The minor in Forensic Biology and Genetics allows students to deepen their knowledge and skills in areas such as serology, DNA sequencing, and the interpretation of genetic data in forensic contexts. Through hands-on laboratory work, case studies, and research projects, students develop proficiency in analyzing biological evidence and interpreting genetic profiles, preparing them for careers in forensic DNA analysis, criminal investigations, and academic research.
Eligibility
B.Sc degree in Botany/chemistry/Zoology/Physics/Bio Science/Bio technology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life science/Forensic Science/B.voc(science stream)/MBBS/BDS/B.pharma/B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. MLT and allied Disciplines Graduates with 50% (40% for SC/ST/ Category-1) excluding language.
